Max Armstrong reports on work to study the wider impact of the 2020 derecho on rural areas

February 19, 2021

Max Armstrong recalls the August derecho and the damage and death it caused. Max shares the story of a University of Nebraska-Lincoln engineer who is studying the storm. Part of the work is looking at community resilience and while the work is focused on urban and suburban areas this engineer is turning attention to rural infrastructure.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
