Gina McCarthy Named New EPA Administrator

The Senate confirmed Gina McCarthy as the new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) administrator.  McCarthy previously served as the head of the EPA’s air and radiation office in President Obama’s first term.  The National Biodiesel Board said that McCarthy was a “strong, dynamic leader who knows the intersection of environment and energy issues as well as anyone in the nation.”
