Iowa Swine Day 2017 will start at 9 a.m. June 29 in the Scheman Building at Iowa State University.
This year’s conference will follow the same structure as in past years, with a plenary session in the morning followed by three concurrent sessions in the afternoon. There will be 16 presentations in total. Topics include marketing to the consumer; countering misperceptions about the use of science in meat production; Veterinary Feed Directives: What have we learned in their implementation; and update on viruses: Seneca, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome, porcine epidemic diarrhea virus, etc.
