World Pork Expo: Follow along with the NHF team

National Hog Farmer, Cheryl Day World pork Expo 2017
Watch for National Hog Farmer's big announcement.

The National Hog Farmer team will join thousands of pork enthusiasts this week in Des Moines, Iowa for the event of the year – World Pork Expo.   A whirlwind of activities focuses on all things pigs, will fill the schedule with side action of savory pork grilling and passionate kids competing in the show ring.

What is your favorite event at the Expo?  Some attend to gather valuable knowledge to guide them in their swine operation.  Others may come to kick the tires and check out the latest innovation on display in the many, many aisles of the tradeshow.  Some will never leave the barns while others cannot wait to sink their teeth into delicious pork.  For me, my favorite thing is the people.  I enjoy interacting with pig farmers from around the world.

Every year, the National Hog Farmer team looks forward to sharing the experience through the lens of the camera and words on the page.  Keep up-to-date with all the activities by following National Hog Farmer social media platforms and don’t forget to download the 2017 World Pork Expo App.

From our team, a big announcement is coming your way tomorrow. Watch our Facebook and Twitter feed as we launch a new program at the 2017 World Pork Expo around 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7.

Make sure you stop by and say hello at our booth V625 in the Varied Industries Building. Check out the New Products Tour and vote for your favorite product for the Producers Choice Award.

See at the Expo!
