As with any legislation, not all sides are satisfied with the version of the 2018 farm bill that left the U.S. House ag committee on Wednesday. By passing the bill onto the full House of Representatives for consideration, it at least gets the ball rolling on working out a compromise before the bill is sent to the U.S. Senate, and ultimately to President Trump to sign before the current farm bill expires at the end of September.
