Topigs Norsvin USA announced that Jenelle (Kleinhesselink) Dunkelberger has joined its staff as geneticist. Dunkelberger will be based out of Topigs Norsvin’s Burnsville, Minn., office. In her new role, Dunkelberger’s responsibilities will encompass research and development activities (domestically and internationally), sales and marketing support, customer technical service and allied industry support.

Dunkelberger is a recent graduate of the Animal Science Department at Iowa State University with a PhD in genetics and a minor in statistics. The title of her thesis is “The role of host genetics in susceptibility to viral disease in pigs.”

“We look forward to Jenelle bringing her education, training and expertise to Topigs Norsvin, says Mike Terrill, president and CEO of Topigs Norsvin USA. She is a dynamic and motivated person and a welcome addition to our team.”

“I am very excited to begin my career with Topigs Norsvin USA,” adds Dunkelberger, “and look forward to contributing to their unique and innovative R&D program.”
