The most recent U.S. Department of Agriculture data shows that U.S. pork exports for the first seven months of the year are up 16% in value ($4.003 billion) and 7% in volume (2.909 billion pounds), compared to 2013. The value per head due to exports is $64.45. The top export markets by volume for U.S. pork are Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong/China, Canada, South Korea, Central America and South America. The top markets by value were Japan, Mexico, Hong Kong/China, Canada, South Korea, Central America and South America.
