The EPA Science Advisory Board (SAB) Panel will conduct an informal review of the "scientific and technical basis" behind EPA’s proposal to define the reach of the Clean Water Act (CWA).

A date for the SAB review has not yet been set, but the panel members have been solicited for their availability to discuss the proposed rule in August. EPA extended the comment deadline on the proposed rule by more than 90 days, from July 21st until Oct. 20th.
