Califf confirmed as new FDA commissioner

Robert Califf has been confirmed to serve as the new commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration. Califf previously served as the FDA deputy commissioner for medical products and tobacco. Prior to joining FDA, he was a researcher at Duke University.
