Save the date and join your colleagues at the 2021 Allen D. Leman Swine Conference, an annual educational event for the global swine industry. The 2021 event will be held Sept. 18-21 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Internationally acclaimed for bringing science-driven solutions to the complex challenges facing the industry, hundreds of participants from more than 20 countries attend the conference each year.

In 1974, Dr. Allen D. Leman, a new University of Minnesota Extension veterinarian, and Dr. Jim Hanson, director of the college of veterinary medicine’s continuing education program, initiated the conference to present new information and discuss issues important to the swine industry. Leman understood how a university could influence practitioners and empower them to be leaders for the swine industry.

This conference for Minnesota practitioners began in a small lecture hall on the Saint Paul Campus and has evolved into the multi-session, international meeting it is today.
