National Pork Industry Conference to focus on sustainability, advocacy
National Pork Board

North American pork producers will converge on Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin July 10-13 for the 26th annual National Pork Industry Conference. This year's event will feature more than 25 highly qualified speakers on the mainstage and in a variety of engaging breakouts covering production and human resource topics.

This year's conference looks to the future of the pork industry, with key sessions highlighting the importance of building trust, our industry sustainability journey, and each producer's role as an industry advocate.

  • Trust is a fundamental, bottom-line issue. Without it, leaders lose teams and industries, and organizations lose reputation, retention of good people, relationships and revenue. But with trust, creativity, productivity, freedom and results follow. David Horsager, CEO and best-selling author of, The Trust Edge, will take industry leading research The Trust Outlook and firsthand experience working with the world's highest performing organizations, to reveal how top leaders and organizations drive business results, to become the most trusted in their industry and beyond.

  • Everyday pork producers practice being sustainable by doing what's right for people, pigs, and the planet. Pork industry and foodservice experts from the National Pork Board, Wendy's and leading pork production companies will discuss learnings from our sustainability journey, how we measure success, and how we strive for continued future improvement.

  • As pork farmers continue to strive to provide the most sustainable meat available, we ask ourselves, is our story being told and if we don't tell it, who will? Farmers are natural leaders who are resilient and are always testing conventional wisdom,  but with this comes a humbleness. A humbleness and pride that doesn't always boast the good in the everyday. A panel of well-known pork industry advocates will join the conference to challenge and teach producers how to take responsibility for telling our story and have producers leaving saying, "Can You Hear Me Now?"

NPIC is built upon three pillars: education, networking and family.  The conference offers a wide array of sessions focused on current swine industry topics, nutrition, health, safety, marketing and more. Features you won’t want to miss include:
