In light of Illinois' current in-person meeting restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Illinois Pork Producers Association has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Illinois Pork Expo.

In lieu of the in-person event, the IPPA will be hosting a four-week producer-focused video series during February and a virtual annual meeting to conduct delegate business.

In place of a tradeshow, the IPPA will be developing an exclusive 2021 Expo Catalog: Chop Talk Special Edition, that will be distributed to over 1,100 mailboxes across Illinois in late-January.

The IPPA is offering an opportunity to still get brands in front of producers. Advertisements can be purchased to highlight a company, new products or any timely information to share with the audience. To find the sponsorship form, visit the IPPA website and click on the "Expo" tab.

The association thanks the industry for its understanding as it continues to navigate through these unprecedented times. The IPPA hopes companies will see value in participating in the catalog for 2021 and sincerely hopes to return to an in-person event in 2022.
