Pharmgate reorganizes management and sales team

Having completed the integration of its new division, ProtaTek International, and in order to better fulfill customer needs and company objectives, Pharmgate has reorganized its management and sales team.

Doug Rupp is promoted to the position of chief operating officer. Rupp joined the company in 2012 initially leading Regulatory Affairs, and Operations since the acquisition of the Pennfield Animal Health business.

Peter Criddle, who has been with the company since its inception in 2008, is promoted to chief financial officer.

Edward Seed has assumed the function of vice president of Global Marketing and International Sales, and will focus on global product strategies and expanding the business internationally.

Chad Howser is promoted to the position of executive director of sales for the U.S. business. All domestic sales and technical functions will report to him. Howser holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing, and after a sales career in the pharmaceutical industry, spent the last eight years in product management with ADM Alliance Nutrition.

Alexander Hintz joins the company as a technical services veterinarian for the eastern Corn Belt region. Hintz completed his bachelor of science and doctor of veterinary medicine degrees at the universities of Minnesota and Wisconsin, respectively, and comes to Pharmgate after a brief stint in practice.

Mike Mulder is appointed as account manager for southern Minnesota and adjacent territory. As a long-term resident of this geography, Mulder has held sales positions with Zoetis, Veterinary Medical Center and a couple of pharmaceutical companies.

These appointments will position the company well as it enters its next phase of expansion.
