Chamberlin named Vita Plus swine technical sales manager

Dave Chamberlin recently joined Vita Plus as the swine technical sales manager for the eastern region swine team. Chamberlin will play a key role in developing the swine team in the eastern region by providing nutritional programming, product development, and brand awareness of Vita Plus products and services.

Chamberlin attended Michigan State University and received a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master’s degree in monogastric nutrition in 2017. Chamberlin previously worked for a 5,000-sow farrow-to-finish farm and oversaw all farrowing management. He also has experience as a farrowing manager of a 700-sow farrow-to-finish unit and as a nutritionist. In the nutritionist role, Chamberlin formulated rations, coordinated ingredient orders, oversaw all farrowing farm management and production, and performed any farm trials related to nutrition, breeding and management. Chamberlin is also on the Michigan Creativity Association Board of Directors, an organization that sponsors creative problem-solving in Michigan youth to help them learn the skills needed to succeed in school, their careers and beyond.
