Swine Fever Strikes the UK

The first outbreak of classical swine fever (hog cholera) in 14 years has hit the United Kingdom.A European Union (EU) ban on all English pig exports has been scaled back to just three counties - Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk - in eastern England. Other countries are expected to follow suit.There were five outbreaks reported in the area. The UK Ministry of Agriculture says they have contained the outbreaks.
