Compact Skid Steer
Bobcat Company introduces the Bobcat 463, an ultra-compact skid-steer loader. The “Mini-Bob” measures 3 ft. wide and 6 ft. tall with a 15.7 hp engine, 700 lb. rated operating capacity, 10 gpm hydraulic flow and 2,450 psi hydraulic system pressure. The skid steer travels at 6.2 mph and weighs 2,708 lb. The loader's swing-out tail gate offers quick access to the engine oil dipstick, drain and fill, fuel filter, air cleaner, battery, starter, alternator and coolant fill.

Weed and Brush Cutter
The Bachtold Bros. 8200 Champion Series weed and brush cutter can trim saplings up to 1½ in. in diameter, as well as 6-ft.-high weeds. The cutter features 26-in. self-propelled, puncture-resistant, semi-pneumatic tires on welded steel wheels with ⅜-in. diameter spokes and ¾-in. axle. The cutter also has a 9-to-1 chain reduction drive, along with a revolving blade guard, blade brake, hand-operated variable speed control and debris shield. Engine options include a 8-hp Briggs and Stratton or Honda OHV engines.

Farmweld introduces its AI Trolley, a stainless steel tray on four wheels that glides along a special track incorporated into the company's new AI/gestation stalls. The tray is large enough for a small semen cooler, disposal container, artificial insemination rods and other breeding supplies. Small holes in the base of the tray allow for easy cleaning.

Veba Meditemp has developed the AnimalTemp, which measures animal temperature, in either Celsius or Fahrenheit, in six seconds with a 0.1° range of error. The unit is ergonomically designed and comes with batteries, carrying cord and protective bags. It can be adjusted for taking the temperature of pigs, cattle and pets.

Industrial Scientific Corporation offers the LTX312, a portable gas monitor which can monitor for up to three gases: oxygen, combustible gases and any one of three toxic gases including ammonia and hydrogen sulfide. The model weights 20 oz. and is powered by either Ni-Cad or 9-volt alkaline or lithium batteries. Other features include plug-in sensors, RFI protection, 90 decibel alarm, ultra-bright visual alarm, one-button calibration, a backlit LCD and peak/hold memory.

Massey Ferguson offers the new MF 251XE utility tractor, with 45 hp power take off, three-cylinder Perkins engine with Fastram combustion system, eight-speed manual transmission with eight forward and two reverse speeds. A dual-stage foot clutch controls both the transmission and the PTO. The tractor is available in two or four-wheel drive. The tractor features a folding ROPS for low-overhead situations and dished fenders for better visibility of implements.

The augers feature a wide stance, stable undercarriage with a hydraulic winch system and a low-profile flex-hopper that stays level at all times. Available in 72, 82, 92 and 102 ft. lengths.
