Course to Explore PEDV and Assessing Biosecurity in the Feed Supply Chain

The University of Minnesota’s ADVET-S program is offering a course on Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus “Assessing Biosecurity in the Swine Feed Supply Chain” which will be held October 6 -19, 2014. This course will be conducted by faculty from the University of Minnesota including Drs. Peter Davies, Tim Snider,  and Montserrat Torremorell. As well, Drs Laura Greiner (Carthage), Joel Nerem (Pipestone), Cassandra Jones (Kansas State University), Jason Woodworth (KSU), Sagar Goyal (UMN), and Scott Dee (Pipestone) will share their perspectives as swine professionals focusing on feed biosecurity. Webinar dates for the course are Tuesday October 7th 6:30 am – 7:30 am CST and Tuesday October 14th 6:30 am – 7:30 am CST, as well as an interactive conference call discussion on Thursday October 9th 6:30 am – 7:30 am CST.
