Feed Energy Names Mike Shindelar as Executive Director

Des Moines, IA – May 24, 2011 Feed Energy today announced that Mike Shindelar has been named Executive Director. Shindelar has more than twenty years of management experience and a proven track record of helping companies implement LEAN and quality control fundamentals.

“Mike’s emphasis on quality control and process improvement is in sync with Feed Energy’s commitment to provide the safest, highest quality products to the livestock and poultry industry,” stated Robert G. Riley, Jr., Feed Energy Chairman of the Board. “Already in his short time with our organization Mike has demonstrated his commitment to providing innovative solutions that produce astounding results for our customers.”

Shindelar joined Feed Energy in 2010 as a Process Engineer and has twenty plus years of experience emphasizing strategy development, management and continuous process improvement. He has worked in several industry sectors including defense, turkey production, electrical and metal equipment manufacturing, architectural millwork and mechanical contracting. Shindelar earned his bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering.
