A high-speed ‘hyperloop’ is being considered in Missouri. It’s a tubal track through which passengers are carried at speeds up to 640 mph. It would move passengers across the state in less than half an hour.

Lt. Gov. of Missouri says he travels so much that he needs a personal driver. He’s asking for larger budget for his office to allow him to make the hire.

In Kansas yesterday, it was a day of prayer of fasting as declared by departing Gov. Sam Brownback. He leaves to become the U.S. ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom. Critics have put together pizza and beer party.

Hate crimes are still not illegal in Indiana. It’s one of five states without such a law as Senate Republicans failed to reach a consensus on a hate crimes bill Tuesday.

Wisconsin won’t allow Tesla electric car dealerships. Wisconsin law prohibits a dealership from directly operating or controlling a dealership.

There is now direct Chicago Cubs connection to RNC. Cubs’ co-owner Todd Ricketts is expected to be named the new finance chairman of the Republican National Committee, replacing Steve Wynn, who was forced out amid sexual abuse allegations. The RNC will not return Wynn’s donations unless he is convicted of a crime.
