The 2011 North American Manure Expo is headed to Norfolk, NE, July 20, 2011, show planners have announced.

The Manure Expo combines three attractions into one: an industry trade show, manure technology demonstrations and educational events. The show runs 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Northeast Community College’s Ag Complex in Norfolk, NE.

A new event this year is application of manure from sprinkler systems.

The 9th Expo will include a large, indoor, comfortable exposition building with indoor restrooms and dining facilities and outdoor exhibition for larger outdoor vendor sets.

Forty acres of land application demonstration area includes well-drained soil for demonstration even during wet conditions.

Attendees will include professional manure handlers, applicators and brokers, producers, handlers of both liquid and solid manure, crop consultants and nutrient management specialists, compost managers, custom operators, allied industry, Extension and agency personnel.
