The 2010 International PRRS Symposium has been scheduled for Dec. 3-4 at the downtown Marriott in Chicago, IL. The symposium precedes the Conference of Research Workers in Animal Diseases.
This year’s program looks at epidemiology, heterogeneity and evolution of the porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus, virus-host interaction and pathogenesis, structural and functional relationship of PRRS virus genes and vaccine and immunity against PRRS virus.
This year’s keynote speakers include Ralph Baric from the University of North Carolina and Eric Snijder from Leiden University in The Netherlands.
There is no cost for registration and lunch will be provided on Saturday. Deadline for abstract submissions is Aug. 25, 2010. Online registration and abstract submission will open soon at the symposium Web site.
