North Carolina Soil Sampling Law Goes into Effect

A new law has gone into effect in North Carolina that changes the soil testing requirement for animal operations from every year to every three years, according to the North Carolina Pork Council. The change is effective in 2013. Farms that did a soil test last year will be good until 2015 and those who have already done a soil test this year will not be required to do a new one until 2016.
