Upcoming Livestock Hearing

The House Agriculture Committee’s Livestock Subcommittee will hold a hearing on the “State of the Livestock Industry” this Wednesday, April 30. 

The purpose of the hearing is to assess the state of the industry and what issues are currently impacting the industry. 

Pork industry economist Steve Meyer will testify on the economic state of the U.S. pork industry during the hearing.

Prior to joining the Bockorny Group, Scott served as director of national relations for Farmland Industries Inc., as well as USDA’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for Congressional Affairs (1993-96), serving as liaison for the Secretary of Agriculture and the USDA to Congress.
