Alexis Taylor has been named Deputy Under Secretary of Agriculture for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services (FFAS). Taylor will focus on international trade. Prior to her appointment she served as Chief of Staff for FFAS. Before joining the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Taylor served as legislative assistant for former Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) and also worked for former Congressman Leonard Boswell (D-IA). Taylor is a graduate of Iowa State University and grew up on her family farm in Iowa.
