Ractopamine Requirements for U.S. Pork Exported to China

The USDA’s Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) announced new ractopamine requirements for U.S. pork exported to China.  Products exported to China on or after July 1 must test negative for ractopamine through either the Ractopamine Residue Program or the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) “Never Fed Beta Agonist Program.”
