Paul Fox joins The Maschhoffs as chief operating officer

The Maschhoffs LLC announced today that Paul Fox has joined the company as chief operating officer. 

Fox has more than 20 years of experience in operations leadership. Out of college, Fox joined Tyson Foods Inc. as a management trainee. During his 17 years at Tyson, his responsibilities would grow to encompass international operations.

After his days at Tyson, Fox entered the private equity sector, where he led three corporate turnaround projects as CEO — at Dickinson Frozen Foods, Marfood USA (subsidiary of Brazil’s Marfrig Group), and O.K. Industries, a leading U.S. poultry company.

Most recently, Fox served as managing director of Economic Benefits for the Family Farms Group, based in Brighton, Ill., where he was responsible for assisting the company’s farmer-members implement strategies to enhance revenue, reduce costs and scale businesses.

At The Maschhoffs, Fox will be responsible for operations across the company’s nine-state footprint, which includes a 218,000-sow breed-to-wean business with an annual production capacity of approximately 5 million market hogs. In this role, Fox will work closely with The Maschhoffs’ general managers across the company’s five production regions.

A graduate of St. Louis’ Parkway North High School, Fox earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Missouri State University and a master’s degree in Leadership and Ethics from John Brown University. His board experiences include private equity funds, industry associations, venture capital, educational institutions, religious organizations and international companies.
