Could You Be the New Face of Farming and Ranching?

Faces of Farming and Ranching, a new program from the United States Farmers and Ranchers Alliance, (USFRA) recently was kicked off at the Food Dialogues in Los Angeles. The nationwide search is looking for farmers and ranchers who can serve as Faces of Farming and Ranching over the next year to reach out to the public through national media and other means.

The program will provide the opportunity for the public to hear from farmers and ranchers, the people that are growing and raising their food. USFRA knows there are many outstanding farmers and ranchers looking to share their stories and help represent agriculture, and this is their chance to step into the spotlight for a year.

Entries are being accepted now through Sept. 8, with finalists announced at USFRA’s November Food Dialogues in New York. The four or five winners will be named next January. More details are available at http://www.fooddialogues.com/faces-of-farming-and-ranching, where producers can complete an online application form and upload a short video to describe their farm.
